About Plymouth Jazz Club

Plymouth Jazz Club was formed by a group of jazz enthusiasts in April 1984 with the objective of promoting live jazz music in Plymouth. Right from it's inception it has managed to promote in excess of 14 gigs per year (currently 14) featuring local, regional, national and international jazz artists and groups.

It is a members club run by a committee of up to 9 who are elected annually at an Annual General Meeting. Membership is open to all who appreciate jazz music, the annual subscription is £10.00 single or £15 for married couples or "partners" living at the same address.  The standard admission price for regular gigs at the regular venue is currently £15 (members £12). All events are open to the public at large, but members get £3.00 off of the ticket price for all regular gigs. There is also a reduced rate for bona fide students.
