Annie Noel Swingtet As a result of Annie's accident, she will be
replaced at the Matchroom gig Maggie Reeday Maggie Reeday has had a long and varied career. Starting out as a resident singer with a local band she later appeared in a succession of shows for ITV, alongside household names such as Paul Daniels, Jim Davidson and Atomic Kitten amongst others, has performed at a Royal Variety show for the Queen Mother at the London Palladium and also enjoyed an 8 week residency on Westcountry TV show "Langsford Late" with presenter Ruth Langsford.Maggie has been taking the country by storm with her Jazz concerts and has had rave reviews for her first CD, "World on a string", featuring such lumineries as Dave Green, Paul Lacey, Craig Milverton and Roy Williams. With a great sense of rhythm, knockout voice and natural ability to connect with her audiences Maggie has ensured repeat bookings and a warm reception wherever she plays. Joining Maggie in the quartet are: Graham Pinkney, piano. After leaving school Graham became a professional musician playing drums with various big bands. He later switched to piano, playing for Harry Gold and Frank Weir and in his own band in the North East. He also played with great artistes such as Don Rendell, Tubby Hayes and Peter King. He later gave up playing to become an entertainments executive. Now retired from the business he is back playing piano and vibes with singers and musicians mainly in the South West. Kevin Sanders has been a professional bassist for over twenty years, and worked and recorded with some of the best musicians and soloists around, including Clare Teal and Peter King. A veteran of over 4000 gigs Kevin is Head of Bass Studies for the AMS group of colleges, teaching at eight music academies around the country. Nick Carter was born and raised in Leeds, where he started playing drum kits from the age of 9. He studied classical music and jazz at Leeds College of Music, leaving in 1995, then worked with many different bands in the Leeds area. In 2001 he relocated to the South West, playing with Martin Dale, the Neil Maya Quartet and Louise Parker amongst others including the Annie Noel Swingtet.
