JOHN SHILLITO'S SELECT SIX

John Shillito needs little introduction to audiences in the South West. His outstanding and perfectly delivered trumpet style is based on that of the late Henry Red Allen, and his vocals are full of expression and feeling.
Joining him in the talented front line of the Select Six are the much respected and articulate reeds player John Wurr; and the popular trombonist Bobby Fox whose  attacking and inspirational style make him instantly recognisable.

The rhythm section includes John Whitlock on banjo and guitar, Bob Jarvis, bass, and Derek Maughan, drums.
